Director of Operations Eddie Moojen
Eddie Moojen, (33), is co-founder of Opentracker and creator of the technology on which its services are based. Eddie holds a Masters degree in Technology and Management, with an emphasis on Technology and Law, from the Technical University in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
In 1997, Eddie started his IT career at consultancy firm KPMG, amid heightened corporate concerns over data protection.
As a consultant to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, he was assigned to look into the lack of attention given by large companies to securing data, in light of the Dutch economy's increasing dependence on such information.
Based on KPMG's recommendations, the Dutch government introduced new curriculum throughout the Dutch education system, including a new post-graduate course on data security.
In 1998, Moojen joined Dutch trading software company Virgil where he upgraded Rabobank's global treasury information systems with intranet technologies.
In 2000, Eddie set up the firm Elements, a company offering financial system consultancy and testing ground for Opentracker's technology.
Director of Technology Wart Fransen
Co-founder Wart Fransen, (30) oversees the company's system maintenance, technology integration, and database services. He is the site designer and webmaster.
Prior to working with Opentracker, Mr. Fransen ran graphic design and media agency W-Art from (2002 - 2004). W-Art offered website construction, implementation and maintenance services to a range of clients, including www.mu.nl.
From 1996-2002, Wart co-founded Trifid Media Design, a graphic design company where he gained extensive commercial experience as system administrator, technical director, and website builder and designer. Its clients included internationally renowned companies HP, Epson, and DSM.
Wart Fransen trained and was educated as a graphic designer and illustrator in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Director of Communications Cralan Deutsch
Opentracker co-founder Cralan Deutsch, (35) runs the company's communications and corporate relations activities. He also manages Opentracker's online content.
Cralan holds an M.Sc. in International Development from the University of California, Davis, and an MA (Hons) in Anthropology from St. Andrews University, Scotland.
His Internet experience includes consultancy, copywriting, and beta testing in San Francisco from 1998 - 2000 for various start-ups and advertising agencies, including fourthbridge.com, a project focused on non-profit database management.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area and an active editor-writer, Cralan spent three years working with development projects in southern Africa, and applies that experience in managing Opentracker's philanthropy program.
