Opentracker.net releases real-time web tracking tool
The startup Opentracker has gone online with a new product at www.Opentracker.net.
The product they have created makes it simple for website owners and web-masters to access real-time reports and analysis of traffic to their site. The product is easy to install and use, neat, comprehensive, inexpensive, and cutting-edge. The product tells users who is visiting their site, where they came from, if they are new or returning visitors, where they are geographically visiting from, which pages are most visited, and a host of further information, all of which can be viewed in easy-to-read graphs. It’s all there. The product has been in development for a year, designed and produced by a two-man team, Eddie Moojen, a graduate from the TU in Eindhoven, and Wart Fransen, a graphic designer who has previous experience with his own company.
The internet changes 24 hours a day. This new product takes the internet a step further towards being a feedback loop between site managers and the surfing public. On today's internet content must be updated according to demand. With Opentracker, site managers have access to highly detailed information, updated in real-time. Web managers know who is visiting their site, and how often they are doing so. Opentracker makes this technology available at a fraction of the cost of the current competition. The design team of Opentracker have been involved with the internet since its inception, and have their finger on its pulse. They have utilized the opensource community, arguably the future of software development, to ensure that their program makes use of the newest technologies, and is compatible with a wide range of systems. Opentracker is unique because the product tracks visitors, as opposed to pages, and stores the information over long periods of time, allowing site managers to create reliable forecasts.
